Annual Meeting:
Per our Articles of Incorporation, Article VI,
Paragraph C, an annual meeting is held on the last Wednesday of March of
each year. We sometimes shift to the week before or after in an effort to increase attendance, when, for example, the last Wednesday of March coincides with the local school district Spring Break week. This Annual Meeting is the main meeting of the association. Among the business
conducted is the election of board members for the association year
commencing on April 1. We urge all members to participate in this once-a-year event.
Quarterly Meetings:
The board additionally holds a routine meeting in each of the other quarters, usually
in January, July, and October. These meetings are usually held on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening at about 6:30PM. We had held these meetings at the Dusenberry-River Library meeting room, but reduced hours at the library has led to a rotation among various venues, typically at an STCE residence or outdoors in a cul de sac in the STCE neighborhood. The exact times and dates of these meetings are flexible to accommodate scheduling conflicts. The time, date, and location of
each meeting will be publicized by sign and e-mail prior to each meeting.
All association members are invited to attend and participate in the
operation of their association.
Special Meetings:
“Work party” meetings may be called for the purpose of completing a work
project such as cleaning the common property. Occasionally, the association
hosts a social event to give our members an opportunity to meet other
members. Participation by our members is key to the success of these
special meetings.
