Sabino Town & Country Estates is a subdivision of 77 single family home sites located in Pima County, Arizona. It's situated slightly north of the boundaries of the city of Tucson and contained within the eastern section of the Catalina Foothills School District. Located at the SE corner of Sabino Canyon Road and Sunrise Drive, the community is bounded by Sabino Canyon Recreation Area to the north, Webster Road to the east, Ocotillo Drive to the south, and Sabino Canyon Road to the west. The postal zip code is 85750.

The subdivision was created in 1977; most homes were built within a few years by several builders; and currently only one lot remains undeveloped. Sabino Town & Country Estates is defined as a "planned community" under Arizona law. All lots, whether developed or not, are required to be members of the Sabino Town & Country Estates Association, a nonprofit Arizona corporation formed in 1977 by Articles of Incorporation and controlled by a Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&Rs). The Association is managed by a board of directors elected annually from within the membership of the Association.

Sabino Town & Country Estates has two attributes setting it apart from most Tucson communities. First, we have three parcels of common property totaling 18 acres. The two smaller parcels follow washes running through the subdivision. While these two parcels are densely vegetated and difficult to access and traverse, they provide a path for excess rain water to drain from the community, provide an attractive refuge and thoroughfare for wildlife, and add back-to-back separation and privacy between many of our homes. The third parcel is a 14 acre tract of open and undeveloped desert. It serves as a buffer between the home sites and the US Forest Service's Coronado National Forest to the north. This tract has an easement with a dirt driveway providing access to several homes located to the east and outside of our subdivision, but the road is gated and secured from unauthorized access. The common property is an attraction to wildlife and contains a variety of native desert plants. It's our private Sonoran desert park and has several rustic paths for use by our members and their guests. All three parcels of our common property are protected as "biological core" areas in the Pima County's "Agua Caliente - Sabino Creek Zoning Plan".

The second jewel of our community is our close proximity to the Sabino Canyon Recreation Area, a major Tucson outdoor scenic and hiking attraction. Sabino Canyon is part of the Santa Catalina District of the Coronado National Forest. The Santa Catalina Mountains reach an elevation of over 9,100 feet and provide a dramatic backdrop and scenic year round views for our subdivision. Winter visitors may drive up the scenic Catalina Highway to encounter snow and enjoy the southern most ski area in the US. Summer visitors can find outside refuge and pleasant hiking conditions away from the summer heat. Within walking distance of our subdivision, Sabino Canyon provides access to miles of year round hiking trails, from beginning to advanced, in the Santa Catalina Mountains from their base elevation of almost 3,000 feet to the summits.
